Text (5 lines) | Lara joined Cooney Architects in September 2014 where her internship experience awarded her the Portuguese professional architectural body membership in 2015. In 2010, the Master’s degree programme took Lara to University of Strathclyde, in Glasgow, UK. In 2013, Lara graduated from Instituto Superior Técnico, in Lisbon, with a thesis developed about “Slums: project with and for the poor. A Case Study in Nicaragua”. In 2017, Lara was invited to restore a derelict dwelling in a historic centre of small town in Portugal, consolidating old construction techniques with sustainable practices. |
